LATHAM, N.Y. - The Saint Michael's College women's tennis team capped a two-match road weekend with a 7-2 victory over The College of Saint Rose on Sunday during Northeast-10 Conference action at the Tri-City Club. The Purple Knights, who remained undefeated in 13 all-time meetings with the Golden Knights, improved to 2-2 overall and 2-1 in the league, while Saint Rose is 0-3 and 0-3.
Senior Nicole Kellogg (Burnt Hills, N.Y./Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) and first-year Abby Ramsay (Bedford, N.H./Bedford) combined for an 8-1 victory in the top doubles spot and, by virtue of Saint Rose defaulting at No. 3, the Purple Knights held a 2-1 lead heading into singles play.

Ramsay won 6-3, 6-1 at No. 2, senior Colleen O'Keefe (Malvern, Pa./Great Valley) and junior Amelia Weeks (Clinton, Wash./South Whidbey) surrendered one game apiece in the third and fourth spots, respectively, and senior Riley Kruger (Colchester, Vt./Colchester) blanked her fifth-position opponent.
