2019 Women's Lacrosse Outlook

COLCHESTER, Vt. - A veteran core anchors a relatively youthful Saint Michael's College women's lacrosse team this spring, as 16 first-years and sophomores dominate a 23-woman roster. The Purple Knights downed perennial regional power Stonehill College last spring while suffering five losses by five goals or less.

College on Friday, as four of its first five games take place on Duffy Field ... the Purple Knights begin Northeast-10 Conference play against visiting Adelphi University, the second-ranked team in the nation, on March 13 ... Saint Michael's visits its other five ranked foes: No. 18 Merrimack College (March 27), No. 23 Bentley University (April 2), No. 14 Pace University (April 6), No. 19 University of New Haven (April 13), and No. 1 Le Moyne College, the defending national champion (April 27) ... the top eight teams in the NE10 standings head into the postseason, with quarterfinals occurring on May 1.
