Most Improved Player:  Caroline Staples for her outstanding contribution on the field.  She was a very versitle player at 3 postions Outfield, 1st base and catching when needed at practice.  This is not easy to play multiple positions and still perform at a high level.  The largest impact she had on the team this year was a second best batting average with .310 and 2nd in RBI's with 13.  Caroline hit many game winning hits or started many comebacks for the team offensively with her powerful swing.

Player of the Year:  Fallon Tierney for her outstanding versatility.  Playing 3 positions OF, C & DP.  She earned NE--10 All Conference 3rd team as a Utility Player and made the NE-10 All Rookie team the first player from SMC to ever make this team.  Her outstanding diving plays in the outfield and her stellar catching performance were only second to her amazing hitting run this season.  She finished with the teams top batting average .311 and was able to drive in 11 runs for us this year and score 12 runs.  Fallon Came up big in many games both defensively and offensively to earn her this years most valuable player.

Manager of the Year:  Jacqui Cronan for her amazing 3 year career as our team manager.  Jacqui is irreplaceable and what she gave to the team is incredible.  She attended every practice and game helping players improve their skills and supporting each of them every step of the way.  She was more of a coach then manager and provided the coaching staff with valuable stats and keen input on coaching decisions.  Her head was always thinking about the next move and she was able to push the players and the staff to new heights.
