COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College men's basketball first-year Levi Holmes III (East Brunswick, N.J./Rutgers Prep) was named Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week for the week ending on Sunday, Feb. 14. Junior Matt Bonds (Accokeek, Md./North Point) landed on the NE-10 Weekly Honor Roll. Holmes was lauded for the first time in his rookie season, while Bonds earned a weekly league recognition for the sixth time this winter.

His two driving lay-ups and one free throw in a 34-second stretch during the final two minutes extended the lead from 73-71 to seven and all but sealed the upset victory. In a 90-74 loss against Franklin Pierce University on Tuesday, he scored 21 points and added five rebounds, two assists and two steals as he shot 7-of-10 from the floor while sinking 5-of-6 freebies.
