COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College had 211 student-athletes qualify for the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for the spring semester, including eight from the men's basketball team (class years from 2014-15 school year):
Seniors Mauri Boschetti (Miami, Fla./Gulliver Prep) and Mike Holton Jr. (Portland, Ore./The Winchendon School); juniors Will Davis (Valley Stream, N.Y./Holy Cross) and Harry Eromosele (Queens, N.Y./CTEA); sophomores Matt Bonds (Accokeek, Md./North Point), David Sullivan (Egg Harbor Township, N.J./Saint Augustine Prep) and Zaire Williams (Paterson, N.J./Newark Academy); and first-year Bruno Beca (Zagreb, Croatia/Westchester Country Day School).
Saint Michael's tied for fourth among the league's 15 institutions by having 63 percent of its NE-10 student-athletes land on the Commissioner's Honor Roll, and was eighth in total honorees. Student-athletes that earn a minimum 3.0 GPA during a given semester are eligible for the accolade. Eighteen of the Purple Knights' squads compete in the NE-10.
The field hockey team topped Saint Michael's with 22 honorees, while men's ice hockey (18), men's lacrosse (18), women's cross country (17) and women's swimming & diving (17) narrowly trailed.
