Greer Lemnah, a junior outfielder from Lyndon Center, Vt., had an outstanding showing against the University of New Haven this past Sunday. She played left field in both games, showing off her skill by diving to get every out she could. Lemnah was 2-for-4 with two singles in game one, scoring once. She had also two put outs, adding to the Purple Knights’ fight.
In game two, Lemnah was 3-for-3 with a single, a double, and a triple, almost completing the cycle, while adding one RBI and one run. Again, Lemnah added two putouts coming from left field.
Overall, Greer leads the team in batting average (.421), slugging percentage (.500), on-base percentage (.476), runs scored (5), and hits (16).
Senior captain Lindsay Houston thinks of Greer as “an essential component to the team’s success on and off the field. Her hard work indoors is evident as we begin our season outdoors. She keeps the team motivated with her enthusiasm and dedication to the game.”
