BOSTON, Mass. - The Saint Michael's College women's cross country team placed 11th out of 30 schools, while the Saint Michael's men finished 17th out of 30 schools, at the season-ending NCAA Division II Regionals, hosted by the University of Massachusetts Lowell and held at Franklin Park.

Senior Jessica Edwards (Lyndonville, Vt./Lyndon Institute) led the Purple Knights with a 38th-place individual finish, running the women's six-kilometer course in 24:47.4. Classmate Karyn Norwood (Marlborough, N.H./Keene) and freshman Jennifer Labrenz (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./Our Lady Of Lourdes) also earned top-75 finishes out of a field of 178 runners.

On the men's side, freshman Colin Delaney (Lake Placid, N.Y./National Sports Academy) led the way with a 67th-place finish, running the 10-kilometer course in 34:51.9. Sophomores Michael Cardillo (Middleton, Mass./Masconomet Regional) and Matt Smith (Winchester, Mass./Winchester/Muhlenberg) placed 77th and 82nd, respectively, out of a field of 180 runners.
