Jessica Edwards Named To NE-10 Cross Country All-Academic Team

(Feb 5, 2010) COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College senior Jessica Edwards (Lyndonville, Vt./Lyndon Institute) was named to the 2009 Northeast-10 Conference Cross Country All-Academic Team, it was announced on Thursday. Edwards, an elementary education and Spanish double-major with a 3.86 Grade Point Average, was the Purple Knights' top runner this fall in her first season with the team. [more]

Women’s Cross Country Awarded NE-10 Fall Sportsmanship Award

(Dec 4, 2009) COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Purple Knights women’s cross country team was awarded the Northeast-10 Sportsmanship Award for their 2009 season, the conference announced on Friday. During the course of their Fall season, the women’s cross country team continually improved, as they raced on difficult courses against top division runners. In their first meet of the season on Sept. 13, the Purple Knights women came in sixth out of six teams at the America East Preview Race. By the last meet of the season, the NCAA Regional Championship on Nov. 8, Saint Michael’s women placed 11th out of 30 schools. [more]
