Alexander Earns ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Men's Cross Country Honors

(Jun 5, 2009) COLCHESTER, Vt. - Recent Saint Michael's College graduate Matt Alexander (Richmond, Vt./Mount Mansfield Union) was named to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Men's Track & Field/Cross Country First Team, it was announced on Thursday. Alexander, the only NCAA Division II student-athlete named to the District I team, is now eligible for All-America honors. Alexander also earned ESPN the Magazine At-Large Team honors earlier this spring for his efforts with the Saint Michael's ski team. [more]

Alexander, Denholm Finalists For NE-10 Scholar-Athlete Award

(May 20, 2009) COLCHESTER, Vt. - Recent Saint Michael's College graduates, Matt Alexander (Richmond, Vt./Mount Mansfield Union) and Mary Lynn Denholm (Sparks, Md./Saint Paul School for Girls), are the College's 2008-09 Institutional Scholar-Athlete honorees, the Northeast-10 Conference announced today. As a result, they are two of 30 finalists for the 2008-09 NE-10 Male and Female Scholar-Athletes of the Year, with the winners announced on Monday, June 1, at the NE-10 Awards Banquet in Mystic, Conn.
