COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College had 230 student-athletes qualify for the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for the fall semester, including 12 from the women's volleyball team:
Seniors Natalie Moore (Burnt Hills, N.Y./Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake), Megan Mulvaney (Smithtown, N.Y./Smithtown East) and Catie Weller (Smithtown, N.Y./Smithtown West); juniors Julia Colasanti (Northville, Mich./Northville), McKenzie McNamara (Pembroke, Mass./Pembroke) and Megan Priester (Dover, N.H./Dover); sophomores Gabby Ratte (Kula, Hawaii/Seabury Hall/Colby-Sawyer) and Sarah Rodgers (Cheshire, Conn./Cheshire); first-years Tanner Barton (Hudson Falls, N.Y./Hudson Falls), Jordan Dean (Gilford, N.H./Gilford), Marina DeMild (Peabody, Mass./Peabody Veterans Memorial) and Allie Statile (Simsbury, Conn./Simsbury).
Saint Michael's placed 11th among the league's 15 institutions in total honorees, but it was sixth by having 68 percent of its NE10 student-athletes land on the Commissioner's Honor Roll. Student-athletes that earn a minimum 3.0 GPA during a given semester are eligible for the accolade. Eighteen of the Purple Knights' squads compete in the NE10.
The men's lacrosse team topped Saint Michael's with 27 honorees apiece, while women's cross country (24), field hockey (23) and women's soccer (21) narrowly trailed.
