Walsh earns NE-10 Weekly Honor Roll recognition following final week of career

COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College women's volleyball senior Katie Walsh (North Kingstown, R.I./The Prout School) was named to the Northeast-10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending on Sunday, Nov. 11, following the final competitions of her college playing career.

Walsh averaged 15.5 kills and 13.0 digs per match last week. In a five-set loss at Pace University on Friday, Walsh had 16 kills, 17 digs, two assists and two aces. During a 3-1 loss against regionally-ranked Adelphi University on Saturday, Walsh helped the Purple Knights win the first set while finishing with 15 kills and nine digs.

Walsh finished her final season as a Purple Knight with a team-best 302 kills, becoming the third player in program history to reach 300 kills in a season. She currently stands fourth in the NE-10 in kills per set (3.28) and 10th in kills. The team captain completed her career first in team history with 2,866 career attacks, fourth with 837 kills, fifth with 997 digs, and sixth with 140 aces.
