Volleyball Ends Season With 3-0 Loss At New Haven

WEST HAVEN, Conn. - The Saint Michael's College volleyball team (12-16, 4-11 Northeast-10 Conference) ended a successful season on Saturday with a 3-0 loss at the University of New Haven (25-9, 25-20, 25-12).
Senior Lindsey Frazier (Ballston Lake, N.Y./Colonie Central) capped off her standout career with a team-high eight kills in the loss. Sophomore Courtney Dunne (Hopkinton, Mass./The Bancroft School) tallied nine digs for the Purple Knights, while freshman Jessica McLeod (Medfield, Mass./Medfield) handed out a team-best 17 assists.
For New Haven (23-2, 15-0 NE-10), Sara Malmlov recorded a match-high 14 kills and 10 digs.
The 12 overall victories, and four league wins, match the highest totals for the Saint Michael's volleyball program in 15 years.
In addition to Frazier, the match marked the final collegiate contest for Saint Michael's senior Sara Reney (Sunapee, N.H./Sunapee).
