COLCHESTER, Vt. - Junior Lindsey Frazier (Albany, N.Y./Colonie Central) set a program record for kills in a season as the Saint Michael's College volleyball team (7-18) won for the second time in its last three matches on Tuesday evening, besting Plattsburgh State University, 3-0 (25-12, 25-23, 25-14), at the Ross Sports Center. The win completes a season sweep for the Purple Knights over the Cardinals (Saint Michael's posted a 3-1 win at Plattsburgh on Sept. 8).

Frazier finished with a match-high 15 kills, giving her 299 kills for the season. That total is three more than Jess Allan's 296 kills set in 1994.

Frazier also had three solo blocks and two assisted blocks for the Purple Knights, while freshman Lilly Lowe (Marstons Mills, Mass./Barnstable) added 10 kills and a match-high 15 digs. Freshman Katie Walsh (North Kingstown, R.I./Prout School) handed out a match-best 35 assists in the victory. Senior Kelly Garthwait (Cheshire, Conn./Cheshire) notched 11 digs and a match-high three service aces for the hosts.

For Plattsburgh (9-22), sophomore Kaitlyn Bakker (Sloatsburg, N.Y.) recorded a team-high 11 kills, while senior Susan Bodkin (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) tallied 20 assists, 10 digs and two service aces. Sophomore Chyresse Wells (Ballston Spa, N.Y.) led the Cardinals with 12 digs.

Saint Michael's returns to action on Friday, as the Purple Knights host Northeast-10 Conference rival Assumption College at 7 p.m. at the Ross Sports Center.
