Women's Tennis Season Ends With 5-0 Loss At Queens In NCAA Tournament
FLUSHING, N.Y. - The Saint Michael's College women's tennis team (12-9) saw its season come to an end in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament for the third straight season on Friday afternoon, as the Purple Knights fell at Queens (N.Y.) College, 5-0.
Saint Michael's pushed the heavily-favored Knights in all three doubles matches, and fell in #1 and #2 singles.
Queens advances to the East Regional #2 finals on Saturday against either third-seeded Southern New Hampshire University or sixth-seeded Adelphi University.
