ORLANDO, Fla. - The Saint Michael's women's tennis team (7-5, 6-1 NE-10) faced another 8-1 hardship on Friday evening, being defeated by the Camels of Connecticut College in the final match of the Purple Knight's Orlando schedule.
Earning the lone point for Saint Michael's, senior Lindsay Horne (Scituate, Mass./Scituate) and junior Marran Ranks (Stratham, N.H./Exeter) defeated won at #1 doubles 8-4. Saint Michael's also tallied a win in an exhibition game that took place during the match, as sophomore Emily Ogilvy (Bedford, N.H./Trinity) defeated her Camel's opponent, 9-7.
The Purple Knights return home and will pick up their Northeast-10 schedule at Stonehill on Saturday, March 27 at 1 p.m.
