COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College has earned its second straight appearance in the NCAA Division II Women's Tennis Championships, the NCAA announced on Wednesday evening.
The Purple Knights (14-6) are seeded sixth in the East Region, and will take on third-seeded Queens (N.Y.) College (12-4) in the First Round in a match hosted by Stonehill College. The match will take place on Thursday, May 7, at 3 p.m.
The first match of the day features the host school, second-seeded Stonehill (19-3), versus seventh-seeded Merrimack College (10-6) in an all-Northeast-10 Conference contest at 11 a.m.
The Saint Michael's/Queens winner will take on the Stonehill/Merrimack winner in the Second Round on Friday, May 8 at 11 a.m. at Stonehill.
