Women's Tennis Ends Season With 5-0 Setback To Queens In NCAA Tournament

(May 7, 2009) EASTON, Mass. - The sixth-seeded Saint Michael's College women's tennis team (14-7) ended its season on Thursday with a 5-0 loss to third-seeded Queens (N.Y.) College in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament, hosted by Stonehill College. Women's Tennis Makes NCAA Tournament; To Play Queens (N.Y.) In First Round On May 7

(Apr 29, 2009) COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College has earned its second straight appearance in the NCAA Division II Women's Tennis Championships, the NCAA announced on Wednesday evening. The Purple Knights (14-6) are seeded sixth in the East Region, and will take on third-seeded Queens (N.Y.) College (12-4) in the First Round on Thursday, May 7 at 3 p.m., in a match hosted by Stonehill College. The winner will play in the Second Round on Friday, May 8 at 11 a.m. against either Stonehill or Merrimack College. [more]
