Choquette announces resignation as Saint Michael's women's soccer head coach

COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College women's soccer head coach Marcel Choquette has announced that he has stepped down from his position in order to pursue other opportunities. Choquette, who had worked at the College since 1999, was also the intramural director and coordinator of summer camps.

In Choquette's 14 seasons guiding the program, the Purple Knights posted 99 victories, qualifying three times for the Northeast-10 Conference Championship thanks to 10-win campaigns. Saint Michael's made its lone appearance in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Tournament in 2002. The longest-tenured coach in the program's 31-year history, Choquette's players earned 10 all-conference and eight all-New England accolades, and the squad was lauded with a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award six of the past seven years.
