Baxter Named To The NEWISA Division II All-New England Second Team

COLCHESTER, Vt. - The New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association named the lone Purple Knights women's soccer senior, Alicia Baxter (Waltham, Mass./Waltham), to the Division II All-New England Team, it was announced on Wednesday.

As the only member of the class of 2010 represented on the women's soccer team, Baxter led a young Purple Knights' team through their rigorous Northeast-10 Conference schedule. In late October, during the second to last game of her junior season, Baxter went down in the first half with a torn ACL. She was back in time for preseason this past August, running through fitness tests and double sessions without a single complaint. Baxter went on to start all 18 games as a defensemen her senior year, even recording the lone goal for the Purple Knights against league-rival Merrimack College on Oct. 20.

Baxter will be graduating in May with a bachelor's degree in business administration with a minor in accounting.
