Maddie Cave '10 returns to the Saint Michael's women's lacrosse program for her third year as an assistant coach in 2013.

Cave, a native of Thomaston, Maine, played in 50 games for the Purple Knights in her four-year career, including 25 starts. The midfielder compiled 14 goals and eight assists for 22 points, and also added 42 ground balls, 38 draw controls, and 22 caused turnovers.

She helped lead the team to a program-record-tying nine victories as a sophomore in 2008, as the Purple Knights advanced to the NE-10 Tournament semifinals. Cave and the Purple Knights also made the NE-10 Tournament quarterfinals in 2007.

Off the field, Cave earned Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition as a senior, and also served as a tri-captain her final year.

Cave graduated from Saint Michael's in 2010 with a degree in journalism and mass communication. While at Saint Michael's, she wrote for the College's student-run publications, The Defender and the Echo.
