SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Senior Brynne Curran (Cape Elizabeth, Maine/Cape Elizabeth) scored seven goals and tallied two assists to lead the Purple Knights (4-1, 2-0 NE-10) past the Yellow Jackets of American International (0-7, 0-3 NE-10), 24-6, Saturday afternoon in Springfield. St. Michael's scored the contest's first four goals and never looked back, cruising to a 13-3 halftime advantage.
Senior Amanda Soule (Hartland, Vt./Woodstock Union) scored three goals along with an assist for the Purple Knights, while classmate Lila McCormick (Scituate, Mass./Scituate) dished out six assists on the afternoon. Senior goalkeeper Courtney Wakem (Tiverton, R.I./Tiverton) stopped six shots to improve her season mark to 4-1.
Saint Michael's continues their road trip to Franklin Pierce University on Monday, March 31 at 4 p.m.
