Handful Of Sports To Head South This Weekend For "Spring Break"

(Mar 12, 2010) COLCHESTER, Vt. - A handful of Saint Michael's College spring sports teams are heading South this weekend to play non-conference contests during the College's week-long spring break. The Purple Knights' baseball, softball, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, and women's tennis programs are scheduled to play a combined 28 games in the next eight days, with baseball and softball kicking off the 2010 season. Women's Lacrosse Supports "Lax 4 Life" Initiative

(Mar 9, 2010) COLCHESTER, Vt. – The Saint Michael’s College women’s lacrosse team, alongside a number of other Division-II women’s lacrosse teams throughout the country, will be joining together to support “Lax 4 Life”, an initiative started by West Chester University to provide suicide prevention awareness. The Purple Knights will be wearing their “Lax 4 Life” T-shirts in conjunction with their opponents at two home events; C.W. Post on March 20 at 1 p.m., and against Bentley University on April 18 at 1 p.m. [more]
