Saint Michaels womens lacrosse (0-2, 0-0 NE-10) got a taste of the Franklin Pierce Ravens (1-0, 0-0 NE-10) on Monday in a non-conference game over the schools spring break, as the Purple Knights were overcome 19-12 in Winter Park, Fla. For the Purple Knights, freshman Julia Heald (Bedford, N.H./Bishop Brady) led the attack with four goals while sophomore Eliza Scoba (Franklin, Mass./Franklin) recorded three goals and an assist. (Mar 12, 2010) COLCHESTER, Vt. - A handful of Saint Michael's College spring sports teams are heading South this weekend to play non-conference contests during the College's week-long spring break. The Purple Knights' baseball, softball, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, and women's tennis programs are scheduled to play a combined 28 games in the next eight days, with baseball and softball kicking off the 2010 season.
