Women's Ice Hockey Drops 6-0 Decision At Norwich

NORTHFIELD, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College women's ice hockey team (3-15-1, 1-13-1 ECAC East) lost its fourth straight game on Friday evening, falling at league-rival Norwich University, 6-0. Norwich improves to 12-3-3, 11-2-2 in ECAC East play.

For Saint Michael's, freshman Erin Stevens (Watertown, Conn./Connecticut Polar Bears) stopped 26 shots. Norwich outshot Saint Michael's 32-18 in the contest, and the Cadets tallied half of their goals in the first period in earning the runaway win.

The Purple Knights continue their season-high eight-game road trip on Saturday with a 1 p.m. contest at the University of Massachusetts Boston.
