Evita Sandoval








First season

Evita Sandoval joins the Saint Michael's College women's ice hockey team as their strength and conditioning coach for the 2009-10 season. Sanoval will assist the women's ice hockey team on and off the ice for strength, conditioning, and injury prevention.

Sandoval is a 2007 graduate of Keene State College, where, as a Dean's List student, she received her bachelor of science degree in physical education with an athletic training option.

Sandoval has had great experience working as a strength and conditioning coach. In 2007, she worked for Sports and Fitness Edge in Williston, Vt. where she was named the company's Trainer of the Year. She served as their swim team's strength and conditioning coach in 2007-08, as well as the tennis cardio strength and confitioning coach. In the 2008-09 season, she served as the assistant athletic trainer for Saint Michael's, working with the Purple Knight's 21 sports.

A native of South Burlington, Vt., Sandoval currently works for Poulin Performance as an athletic trainer/personal trainer. She is the single athletic trainer down at the Green Mountain Valley School for skiers and has been an emergency medical technician since 2004.
