The Saint Michaels College womens ice hockey team (3-20-2) ended its season on Sunday with a 4-3 shootout loss versus Sacred Heart University in the Consolation Game of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Womens Open Tournament at the College of the Holy Crosss Hart Center. The game officially is listed as a 3-3 tie, with Sacred Heart winning the shootout in seven rounds, 3-2. The Saint Michaels College womens ice hockey team fell behind early in suffering a 5-2 loss at the College of the Holy Cross in the semifinals of the ECAC Womens Open Tournament at the Hart Center. For Saint Michaels, sophomore Emily Elliott (Casper, Wyo./Colorado Selects) scored her first collegiate goal, an unassisted tally.
