COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College women's basketball senior Nicole Adach (Schenectady, N.Y./Mohonasen) was named to the Northeast-10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending on Sunday, Nov. 25, earning recognition for the third time in as many weeks this winter.
Adach put together her third 20-point game in four outings this year, totaling 24 points, 10 rebounds and three steals in an 87-68 loss at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell on Tuesday. Adach shot 10-for-19 from the field, 2-for-5 from three-point range and 2-of-3 from the free throw stripe.
Through four contests, Adach ranks second in the NE-10 in scoring (22.0), field goals (31), free throws (21) and free throw shooting (91.3). She is also third in field goal percentage (57.4) and tied for 10th in steals (9). In addition to a 62.5 showing from three-point range, Adach averages a team-leading 7.3 rebounds.
The Purple Knights, who stand 1-3 overall and 0-2 in the league, host nationally-ranked Bentley University on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. The Falcons are ranked second in the most recent USA TODAY national poll and have reached the NCAA Tournament in 29 of the past 31 seasons, including the Elite Eight the last two years.
