ALBANY, N.Y. - The 10th-seeded Saint Michael's College women's basketball team (14-13) saw its season come to an end in the First Round of the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament on Sunday, falling at seventh-seeded College of Saint Rose, 66-46.

With the win, Saint Rose (19-9) advances to the NE-10 Quarterfinals, where the Golden Knights will visit second-seeded Stonehill College on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

For Saint Rose, Ashley Anderson had a game-high 19 points and 19 rebounds, helping the hosts overcome the absence of leading scorer Lauren Revesz, who missed the game due to injury. Dana Brown added 14 points as the Golden Knights shot 47 percent from the field in the contest.

For the Purple Knights, senior Anna Florent (Fort Wayne, Ind./Snider) had a team-high nine points off the bench in the final game of her college career. Sophomore Logan Pintka (Niskayuna, N.Y./Colonie Central) also scored nine points in the loss. Saint Michael's was undone by 29 percent shooting from the floor, including 1-of-15 from beyond the arc, and committed 21 turnovers.

Saint Michael's never led in the contest, as the Purple Knights were slow out of the gate despite defeating Saint Rose in both regular-season matchups.
