Free Admission For Women's Basketball Game Versus Goldey-Beacom On Saturday!
COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College women's basketball team's non-conference contest versus Goldey-Beacom College on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Ross Sports Center will be free to the public, the College's Athletic Department announced today.
The game is the first-ever meeting between the Purple Knights (6-3, 4-2 Northeast-10 Conference) and the Lightning (3-3, 1-1 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference). The contest is also the last home game for Saint Michael's this calendar year.
Saint Michael's is coming off of a 59-52 win at league-rival Le Moyne College on Saturday. The Purple Knights are led by sophomore Michelle Otey (Southborough, Mass./Algonquin Regional) and junior Anna Florent (Fort Wayne, Ind./Snider), who are both averaging at least 11 points and six rebounds per game.
