Basketball Squads Garner NE-10 Winter Sportsmanship Awards

(Apr 9, 2008) COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College men's and women's basketball teams were named the 2007-08 Sportsmanship Award recipients by the Northeast-10 Conference, it was announced on Wednesday. The awards program honors one team from each of the NE-10's 23 championship sports that has exemplified the spirit of sportsmanship and generally conducted themselves with a higher degree of integrity, character and class. Pintka Named to NE-10 Women's Basketball All-Rookie Team

(Mar 9, 2008) COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College freshman Logan Pintka (Niskayuna, N.Y./Colonie Central) was named to the Northeast-10 Conference All-Rookie Team, it was announced on Sunday. Pintka averaged 9.8 points and 3.8 rebounds per game for the Purple Knights, and was one of three players on the team to appear in all 28 contests for Saint Michael's this season. [more]
