COLCHESTER, Vt. ? The Saint Michael's College volleyball team (7-19, 2-10 NE-10) suffered a 3-0 loss to Bentley College (19-8, 11-1 NE-10) in Northeast-10 Conference action on Friday evening at the Ross Sports Center. Bentley, second in the NE-10 standings, earned wins of 30-14, 30-11, and 30-22.
For the Falcons, senior Christina Sadowski (Salem, N.H.) tallied a match-high 17 kills, while freshman Andrea Farah (Miami, Fla.) added 11 kills. Junior Tori Piskulick (San Diego, Calif.) recorded 42 assists, and sophomore Cassie Kraft (New Braunfels, Texas) notched 14 digs.
For the Purple Knights, freshman Emma Briscoe (Petersburg, Ind.) had a team-best eight kills and eight digs, while junior Stephanie Smetana (Independence, Mo./Truman) tallied seven digs. Junior Amy Manougian (Rye, N.H./Portsmouth) recorded a team-high 12 assists.
Saint Michael's returns to action on Nov. 3, as the Purple Knights host league-rival Le Moyne College for a 1 p.m. match. Bentley visits Stonehill College on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
