Chris Kilmer Promoted To Head Volleyball Coach

(Feb 15, 2008) COLCHESTER, Vt. – Saint Michael’s College has announced that Chris Kilmer, an assistant coach for the Purple Knights’ volleyball team for the last three seasons, has been promoted to head coach. Kilmer, the eighth coach in the program’s 29-year history, replaces Emily Decker, who resigned last month after four successful seasons as head coach of the NCAA Division II program. Decker led Saint Michael’s to 28 wins in her four seasons, including an 11-victory campaign in 2006. [more]

Volleyball Defeated In Season Finale By Merrimack, 3-1

(Nov 4, 2007) COLCHESTER, Vt. – The Saint Michael’s volleyball team (7-21, NE-10 2-12) ended their season on Sunday afternoon at the hands of Merrimack College (17-12, NE-10 12-3) in four sets 30-17, 30-19, 28-30, 30-18. Seniors Leslie Herwig (Kingston, N.Y./Kingston) and Kelsey Kobelt (Rye, N.Y./The Ursuline School) played their final match at the Ross Sports Center in a Purple Knights uniform after four years under Head Coach Emily Decker.
