Men's and women's swimming & diving both lauded by CSCAA for academics

COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College was one of 18 institutions from around Division II, and among just three from New England, to have both its men's and women's swimming & diving teams earn a College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Team Scholar All-America Award for the fall semester.

Following their third seasons under head coach Eileen Hall, both squads were lauded after their student-athletes combined to reach a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade-point average in the fall semester. The women posted a 3.17 GPA as one of 45 programs honored, while the men were 20th out of 23 teams thanks to their cumulative 3.04 GPA.

Among New England institutions, the Saint Michael's men trailed only the University of Bridgeport and Bentley University, while the women were fourth. The College joined Bentley as the lone Northeast-10 Conference school to have both its men's and women's teams honored.
