NORTHFIELD, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College women's swimming and diving team earned a convincing 212-56 win at Norwich University on Wednesday evening, improving its perfect record to 3-0, while the men fell to the Cadets, 169-121.

Despite the loss, junior Nick Franks (Needham, Mass./Needham) swam well for the Purple Knight men, winning the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle, and helping the team win the 200-yard freestyle relay. Classmate Dan Healy (South Burlington, Vt./South Burlington), like Franks, helped the Saint Michael's men win the 200-yard freestyle relay, and he also won the 50-yard backstroke and 100-yard backstroke.

Several Saint Michael's women recorded multiple victories. Senior Hannah Houley (Brookline, Mass./Brookline) won both one-meter diving competitions, while freshman Grace Kahn (Fairhope, Ala./Bayside Academy) earned wins in the 50-yard backstroke and 100-yard backstroke. Sisters Eileen and Julie Mullowney (Burlington, Vt./Burlington) helped the Purple Knights win both the 200-yard freestyle relay and 200-yard medley relay, while Eileen also won the 50-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle, and Julie the 100-yard freestyle. And sophomore Katie Cox (South Hadley, Mass./Holyoke Catholic) claimed titles in the 500-yard freestyle and 1000-yard freestyle.

Saint Michael's returns to action on December 4-5 at the Bentley University Invitational.
