McGrath, Cox; Swimming and Diving Duo Lands On NE-10 Honor Roll


COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's sophomore Tim McGrath (Hyannis, Mass./Barnstable) and freshman Katie Cox (South Hadley, Mass./Holyoke Catholic) each earned Northeast-10 honor roll accollades for their achievements in the Purple Knight's dual meet against Bentley University, the conference announced on Tuesday.

McGrath finished first in the 100-yard freestyle event and helped the Purple Knights to a first place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay on Sunday against Bentley University. Cox helped earn the Purple Knight women points by finishing first in the 500-yard freestyle event.

The Saint Michael's College swimming and diving team will travel to Saint Rose on Saturday, where they will compete in the dual meet at 1 p.m.
