NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Saint Michael's College men's swimming and diving team finished sixth, and the women seventh, on Sunday following the three-day Northeast-10 Conference Championship, hosted by Southern Connecticut State University.
Sophomore Sammy Sweeney (Waterbury Center, Vt./Harwood Union) had a strong showing on Sunday, placing fourth in the women's 200-yard butterfly. Sophomore Dan Healy (South Burlington, Vt./South Burlington) also fared well on Sunday, finishing fourth in the men's 200-yard butterfly.
Saint Michael's returns to action next Saturday and Sunday, taking part in the NEISDA Diving Championship.
