Men Place Sixth, Women Seventh At NE-10 Swimming & Diving Championship

(Feb 7, 2010) NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Saint Michael's College men's swimming and diving team placed sixth, and the women seventh, on Sunday at the three-day Northeast-10 Conference Championship at Southern Connecticut State University. Sophomore Sammy Sweeney (Waterbury Center, Vt./Harwood Union) had a strong Sunday showing, placing fourth in the women's 200-yard butterfly. Men Fifth, Women Seven After Day Two Of NE-10 Swimming & Diving Championship

(Feb 6, 2010) NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Saint Michael's College men's swimming and diving team sits in fifth place, and the women seventh, on Saturday after day two of the Northeast-10 Conference Championship, hosted by Southern Connecticut State University. Freshman Max O'Brien (Bedford, Mass./Bedford) did well for the Purple Knights, placing second in Saturday's one-meter dive. The championship concludes on Sunday. [more]
