Softball Drops Pair Of Contests At Assumption, 5-0 And 8-7
WORCESTER, Mass. - The Saint Michael's College softball team (7-22, 1-19 Northeast-10 Conference) lost a pair of contests at Assumption College on Wednesday, falling in game one, 5-0, and in the nightcap, 8-7. Sophomore Kelly Egan (Milford, Mass./Marian) had three hits, including a double, in game two, but suffered the tough-luck loss. Saint Michael's closes out the home portion of its schedule on Thursday with a 3:30 p.m. doubleheader versus league-rival Le Moyne College on Doc Jacobs Field.
