Softball Splits Pair Of Games On Tuesday In Florida

(Mar 16, 2010) CLERMONT, Fla. - The Saint Michael's College softball team (4-2) split a pair of games on Tuesday at the National Training Center Spring Games, defeating Nyack College in Tuesday's first game, 8-0, and falling to Philadelphia University in Tuesday's nightcap, 4-1. Senior Kelly Egan (Medford, Mass./Marian) pitched her second shutout in as many days against Nyack in the opener to lead the Purple Knights, who return to action on Thursday with games against Philadelphia at 9:30 a.m., and Caldwell College at 11:30 a.m. [more]

(Mar 15, 2010) CLERMONT, Fla. - The Saint Michael's College softball team (3-1) continued its strong start to the season on Monday with a doubleheader sweep of Nyack College, winning the opener 6-5, and the nightcap in five innings, 8-0. Senior Kelly Egan (Medford, Mass./Marian) pitched a complete-game shutout in game #2, allowing just one base hit in the fifth and final inning.
