Men's tennis sophomore Nick Bosco named to NE-10 Weekly Honor Roll

COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College men's tennis sophomore Nick Bosco (Glastonbury, Conn./East Catholic) was named to the Northeast-10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending on Sunday, Feb. 26. It was Bosco's second career accolade, after being named NE-10 Player of the Week on Oct. 19, 2010.

During the Purple Knights' first match since Oct. 9, Bosco earned a 6-1, 6-3 victory in the No. 1 singles spot on Saturday against Merrimack College, which is ranked fifth in the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) regional poll. Saint Michael's fell to the Warriors, 6-3. He also played a role in an 8-4 setback at No. 1 doubles.

Bosco is 4-2 from No. 1 singles this season while making all six of his doubles appearances in the top spot. Now 4-2 overall and 3-2 in the NE-10, the Purple Knights break until hosting Adelphi University on March 24.
