Men's Tennis Earns Fifth Seed With 9-0 Win Over Franklin Pierce


COLCHESTER, Vt. ? The Saint Michael's College men's tennis team clinched the fifth seed in the upcoming Northeast-10 playoffs with a 9-0 win over Franklin Pierce on Tuesday afternoon in the Tarrant Recreation Center. With the win, the Purple Knights earned their eighth win, which is the most since the 2001-02 season.

Junior Andy Samara (South Burlington, Vt./South Burlington) and sophomore John Lescure (Kennebunk, Maine/Berwick Academy) led the Purple Knights with wins in both of their singles and doubles matches.
