
(May 6, 2008) COLCHESTER, Vt.- After guiding the Purple Knights to Northeast-10 Conference semifinals, junior John Lescure (Kennebunk, Maine/Berwick Acad.) and sophomore Craig Lindaberry (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills Reg.) were rewarded for their work in the classroom as part of the seven-man Northeast-10 All-Academic Team. Lescure, compiling a record of 11-10 at the No. 1 Singles and Doubles position, is a Political Science major with a 3.20 grade point average. Lindaberry has a matching GPA but is a dual-major in Journalism and French. He also amassed a combined 20-11 record at multiple singles and doubles positions. [more]
(Apr 24, 2008) SMITHFIELD, R.I.- The Saint Michael' College men's tennis team (9-8) saw their 2008 campaign come to a close at #1 Bryant University (19-3) Thursday afternoon in the Northeast-10 Conference semifinals, 5-0. Bryant is set to face the winner of Stonehill / Merrimack for the Northeast-10 Conference Championship Sunday at 1 p.m. at Stonehill College in Easton, Massaschusetts. [more]
