Three Men's Tennis Players Earn NE-10 All-Conference Third Team Honors

(Apr 26, 2009) COLCHESTER, Vt. - Three from the Saint Michael's College men's tennis team were named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference Third Team, it was announced on Sunday. Senior Sean Steigerwald (North Andover, Mass./North Andover - at left) was named at both #2 singles and #1 doubles, partnering with classmate John Lescure (Kennebunk, Maine/Berwick Academy). Also, Junior Craig Lindabery (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills Regional) was honored at #3 singles. [more]

Men's Tennis Suffers 5-2 Loss To Penmen In NE-10 Quarterfinals

(Apr 22, 2009) COLCHESTER, Vt. – The fourth-seeded Saint Michael’s College men’s tennis team (7-8) fell to fifth-seeded Southern New Hampshire University, 5-2 on Wednesday in the Northeast-10 Conference Quarterfinals on the Saint Michael’s outdoor courts. For Saint Michael’s, seniors John Lescure (Kennebunk, Maine/Berwick Academy) and David Besserer (Brattleboro, Vt./Brattleboro Union - at left) recorded an 8-3 win at #2 doubles to lead the way.
