Men's Tennis Opens Spring Season With 6-3 Victory Versus Pace

(Mar 6, 2010) COLCHESTER, Vt. – The Saint Michael’s College men’s tennis team (1-1, 1-1 Northeast-10 Conference) resumed the 2009-10 season on Saturday with a 6-3 win versus Pace University in league action in the Tarrant Recreation Center. For the Purple Knights, freshman Dennis Stanton (Mahopac, N.Y./Mahopac) won twice in his collegiate debut, as he posted a straight-set victory in #2 singles, and partnered with sophomore Brian Healey for an 8-5 win in #2 doubles. Brian Healey Lands On NE-10 Men's Tennis Weekly Honor Roll

(Oct 20, 2009) COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College sophomore Brian Healey (Ware, Mass./Belchertown) was named to the Northeast-10 Conference Men's Tennis weekly honor roll, it was announced on Tuesday. Healey won both his singles and doubles match on Saturday in the Purple Knights' season-opening 6-3 loss to Saint Anselm College. Saint Michael's resumes its season in March. [more]
