COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College men's soccer senior Logan Kingman (New Bern, N.C./New Bern) was named to the Northeast-10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending on Sunday, Oct. 7.
A goalkeeper, Kingman went 0-1-1 last week while posting an .867 save percentage and a 0.90 goals-against average. On Wednesday against the sixth-ranked University of Massachusetts at Lowell, which entered the game 14th in the nation in goals, Kingman made seven saves, yielding only an 11th-minute tally in a 1-0 loss. In a 1-1 draw with American International College on Sunday, Kingman made six saves, allowing just a sixth-minute goal.
For the season, the co-captain has each of his team's decisions, going 6-3-3 with a 0.94 GAA and an .817 save percentage, with the latter two figures better than his career highs. Kingman has anchored a defense that has notched five clean sheets while allowing one goal or less in eight of 12 games. He currently stands second in the NE-10 in save percentage and saves (49), and third in GAA.
The Purple Knights, who are 2-3-3 in league play, host the University of New Haven on Saturday at 1 p.m.
