Men's Soccer's Schill Earns NSCAA All-East Region Second Team Honors

COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College senior Blake Schill (Essex Junction, Vt./Essex/Worcester Academy) received yet another prestigious honor earlier this month, as he was named to the 2010/National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Performance Subaru Men's NCAA Division II All-East Region Second Team. It marks the second straight season that Schill has earned NSCAA All-East Region accolades.
Since completing his standout collegiate career in October, Schill was selected to the 2010 New England Intercollegiate Soccer League (NEISL) Division II All-Star roster, and was named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference Second Team for the second straight season.
As an assistant captain in 2010, Schill tied for the team lead with four goals while serving primarily as a defender. He played in all 17 games for the Purple Knights, and tied for second on the team with nine points.
Schill helped lead Saint Michael's to a 7-6-4 record in 2010, the program's second straight winning season and third in his four-year career.
