Fifth Consecutive Overtime Delivers A 0-0 Tie For The Purple Knights


COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College men's soccer team (5-3-3, 1-3-3 NE-10) endured their fifth straight overtime on Saturday against the Le Moyne College Dolphins (8-1-2, 5-1-1 NE-10), drawing 0-0 in the end.

The Purple Knights held the Dolphins to eight shots in the contest. Prior to Saturday's game at Duffy Field, the Dolphins were in second place standings in the NE-10. Senior co-captain Jason Burnett (South Burlington, Vt./South Burlington) recorded three saves, while Dolphins senior Steve White (Cortland, N.Y./Cortland) made 5 throughout the game.

The Purple Knights will host the Southern New Hampshire University Penmen for their next game on Saturday, Oct. 10. The game will follow the women's soccer game on Duffy Field for a 3 p.m. kickoff.
