Men's Soccer's Berry, Ward Named To NE-10 All-Academic Team

(Feb 5, 2010) COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College senior Jared Berry (Barrington, R.I./Barrington) and junior Rondel Ward (Saint George, Barbados/Harrison College) were named to the 2009 Northeast-10 Conference Men's Soccer All-Academic Team, it was announced on Thursday. The duo were two of 15 men's soccer players honored by the conference for academic excellence, and helped lead the Purple Knights to a 9-5-3 record in 2009. [more]

Men's and Women's Soccer Receive 2009 NSCAA Team Academic Award

(Jan 13, 2010) COLCHESTER, Vt. – The Purple Knight men’s and women’s soccer teams were recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) on Wednesday as recipients of the 2009 Team Academic Award for posting a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher in the 2008-09 academic year. The women’s soccer team, under head coach Marcel Choquette, posted a team GPA of 3.21, earning them the award for the third time in four years.
