Smoke Helps Iroquois Take Bronze at World Championships, Wallace and Ireland 12th

Saint Michael's College men's lacrosse alumnus Taylor Smoke '09 (Hogansburg, N.Y./Vermont Academy) helped the Iroquois Nationals finish in third place among 46 squads during the Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) World Lacrosse Championships on Friday thanks to a 14-12 victory against Australia during the bronze medal game at Wingate Institute.

For the second time in three years, Saint Michael's College men's lacrosse alumnus Taylor Wallace '17 (Bedford, N.H./Bedford) will play in a tournament as a member of the Ireland National Lacrosse Team, this time competing in the Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) World Lacrosse Championships next month in Netanya, Israel.

Saint Michael's College men's lacrosse recent graduate Neil Gallagher (Stowe, Vt./Green Mountain Valley School) was named to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) All-New England second team on Tuesday for the second consecutive season.
