Men's Lacrosse Holds Down Third Spot In Division II NEILA Poll

COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College men's lacrosse team (2-3, 1-0 Northeast-10 Conference) remains in third place in the Division II New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) Poll, released on Tuesday.

Saint Michael's is coming off of a 7-5 win at Southern New Hampshire University on Saturday in the Purple Knights' league opener. It was the program's best defensive effort since the 2009 season opener.

The Purple Knights play their first home game of the season today (Wednesday), hosting nationally-ranked Merrimack College at 4 p.m. on Duffy Field at Doc Jacobs Complex.
