Pat Ivory, a four-year member of the Saint Michael's men's lacrosse team from 2005-08, remains with the squad for his first season as an assistant coach in 2009.
Ivory, a defender during his playing career, helped Saint Michael's record four straight winning seasons during his career. As a senior in 2008, Ivory appeared in all but one contest, starting six games, and had 11 ground balls.
A native of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., Ivory graduated from Saint Michael's in 2008 with a degree in history, and was a Dean's List student as an undergraduate.
Ivory has assisted with several of Saint Michael's instructional camps, and he currently directs the youth and high school lacrosse programs at the Field House in Shelburne, Vt.
Ivory, who resides in Burlington, has a younger brother, Ryan, who plays on the University at Albany men's lacrosse team.
