(Jan 25, 2010) COLCHESTER, Vt. - The men's lacrosse team sacrificed some of their free time last Saturday, Jan.16, to raise money and awareness for the Haitian relief efforts. Members of the men's lacrosse team collected donations through a 50-50 fundraiser, raising a total of $200. As money that normally would have gone towards their team budget, the $200 was instead donated to "Hope for Haiti". "Given the tragedy down in Haiti five days prior, it seemed like the right thing to do," said men's lacrosse head coach, Paul Schimoler. [more]
