Men's Lacrosse Picks Up First Win Of Season, 13-7, At Dominican

(Mar 17, 2010) HILLBURN, N.Y. - The Saint Michael's College men's lacrosse team (1-2) earned its first victory of the season on Wednesday afternoon, besting Dominican College, 13-7, at the Torne Valley Sports Complex. Senior Charles Seelinger (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) netted a team-best three goals for the Purple Knights, who return to action on Wednesday, March 24, with a 4 p.m. contest at Northeast-10 Conference rival Merrimack College. Buccellato Lands On NE-10 Weekly Honor Roll After Opening Week

(Mar 14, 2010) COLCHESTER, Vt. - Sophomore Andy Buccellato (Glen Rock, N.J./Don Bosco Prep) landed on the Northeast-10 men's lacrosse weekly honor roll after Saint Michael's first week of the 2010 schedule, the conference announced on Monday. In the Purple Knights home-opener on Wednesday against Plattsburgh State, Buccellato recorded a team-high four goals and an assist on the attack for Saint Michael's. The Purple Knights have traveled to Long Island for the College's spring break where they will play Dowling College at 4 p.m. on Monday afternoon, followed by a 4 p.m. faceoff against Domincan (N.Y.)
