Individuals Honored At Men's Ice Hockey Banquet; '08-'09 Captains Named

(Apr 16, 2008) COLCHESTER, Vt. – Using a fourth-seed vote in the Northeast-10 Conference pre-season Coaches Poll as motivation, the Saint Michael’s men’s ice hockey team stormed the league with their first ever regular season crown and first tournament championship campaign since 2004. On Wednesday, April 9, the Purple Knights held their annual awards banquet to honor the individuals responsible for the team’s historical run. Davidson Named Head Coach Of Men's Ice Hockey

(Mar 17, 2008) COLCHESTER, Vt.- Chris Davidson, who served as interim head coach of the Saint Michael’s men’s ice hockey program this season, has been named head coach of the Purple Knights. The announcement was made today by Geri Knortz, Director of Athletics, and concludes a national search process that the College committed to last spring when long-time head coach Lou DiMasi announced his retirement.
