COLCHESTER, Vt. – Saint Michael's College men's hockey players Reave MacKinnon (Winnipeg, Manitoba/Winnipeg Saints) and Mike Dizgun (Kirkland, Quebec/OCN Blizzard) were named the Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week and Goalie of the Week, respectively, it was announced on Monday. Junior Brady Earle (Columbia, Md./The Gunnery School) also made the weekly Honor Roll. The pair of top honors marks the second time this season two Purple Knights have nabbed coveted weekly awards (Player of the Week, Goalie of the Week, or Rookie of the Week) in the same week, and the fifth time at least one Knight received an award.

MacKinnon, now a three-time Player of the Week winner, netted the game-winning goal on Friday in the first Saint Michael's victory over league-rival Saint Anselm since the Purple Knights topped the defending league champions in the 2008 NE-10 championship game. MacKinnon, who also dished out three assists in two games, is tied for first and third in goals scored in the NE-10 and Eastern College Athletic Conference East, respectively. The junior forward also leads the NE-10 with three game-winning goals.

Dizgun is now the proud owner of back-to-back Goalie of the Week titles, and stopped 53-of-57 shots last week. The sophomore goalie earned his fifth win of the season while making 26 saves against the Hawks on Friday, and made another 27 saves in a hard-fought tie at New England College on Saturday. Dizgun ranks third in the NE-10 in goals against average, save percentage and winning percentage, and is in the top-15 in all three categories in the ECAC East.

Earle tallied the game-tying goal in a 2-2 stalemate at New England College on Saturday. The junior forward, tied for second on the team in points, snapped a nine-game goalless streak with his lamp lighter against the Hawks on Friday before his clutch fourth goal of the season against the Pilgrims.

MacKinnon, Dizgun and Earle will look to keep the Purple Knights atop the NE-10 and climb in the ECAC East standings when they face off at Trinity on Friday at 7 p.m.
